Meet Platinum: Jennifer Morton

This post is part of a series to help you get to know the members of our team. We’re real people who call Arizona home, not a big corporate machine!

Jennifer Morton

Account Manager

Tell us a bit about your personal background and family.

I have been with my husband for almost 16 years, and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I’m a mother of three wonderful children who bring such joy to my life every day. I’m originally from California, and I moved to Phoenix when I was 17. After graduation, I attended college in Washington state and have moved to a few other states over the years and found myself back in Phoenix. I miss the ocean, but I love the fact that we are not to far if I want to make a quick weekend trip down to see family anytime I want.

What has your career been like? / How did you get started at Platinum?

I have been a licensed REALTOR since 2008. I have worked in all aspects of the business including resale, new home sales, advertising and marketing for the AZ Republic and popular real estate magazines and, most importantly, home warranty. I have been in home warranty for over five years now, and I am truly blessed to have been able to come and work at Platinum Home Warranty. I have always focused my career on truth and being available for my clients, and when I met with Platinum, I knew they were a perfect fit for me. I go above and beyond for my clients because I understand how important relationships are.

What are your hobbies?

I am a self taught Resin and Alcohol Ink artist. I found my passion a few years ago and I love being able to sit down and let my mind be quiet and let my paints flow into something amazing. I believe that art is a way to your soul and I work on my art every chance I get.

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” – Thomas Merton

What have you learned that you would love to share?

I have learned that there is never a guarantee of tomorrow. I always trust my intuition, and I always hold my faith. I know in my heart that even when things are hard, there is always a reason for everything, and there are always good things that come out of every situation. I believe in honesty and being a shining light to others. You never know how you can touch someone’s life by just doing something nice just because.

What does “home” mean to you?

Home is where your heart is. It’s being connected to the people you love, even if they are far away. It’s having an open door to help someone when they need help. It’s laughter and joy and most of all love of family and friends.
